In early spring Dylan and I took some hard wood clippings from our berry bushes. During our First season we purchased berries from a boojee local nursery 5 mins away. They were overly expensive and have since found alternatives to growing our patch!
We have Wild black currant, Haskaps and Raspberries propagating from our first years patch! We took the 6-8" cuttings and are water propagating them for transplant later on.
Part of our goal here is to establish a perennial food forest, growing native and hardy fruit and nut species. We're busy collecting cuttings, seeds, and plants from all over this area! Let us know if you have any cool or meaningful species you'd like to share or let us know about!
